Competitive Athletes
What we can do for you.
Our coaches are experienced competitors, and while we don't force all of our students to compete we highly encourage it. Our main discipline is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and while some of our teammates (actively and in the past) compete in pure Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, we model our teaching style to prepare our students for MMA or real world scenarios where striking might be involved. Several of our students and coaches are active and Licensed MMA fighters competing in State sanctioned events. Our goal is to give our fighters an in depth understanding of grappling in a MMA context, while implementing a solid baseline of striking fundamentals pulled from Boxing and Muay Thai. Starting from zero experience, it may be six months or more before we recommend you compete in a grappling tournament, or unsanctioned Boxing/Kickboxing exhibition, and upwards of a year before we consider putting you into a sanctioned cage fight. We require all of our fighters to first achieve a specific amount of experience in lower level competition, off-the-record, before we ever consider them for taking a sanctioned fight. If you are at the stage where you are ready for a fight, we will help you with career advice, self-marketing, reaching out to promotors, scouting opponents, negotiating with promotions, finding sponsors, getting into high level camps, etc. Your success is our main priority and we want to give you the tools to have a long and fruitful career.
